"From Mountain mother we are born
From Hawk father we were blessed As spirit we begin And as spirit we shall end To our mother and father we return" ~ Ka-shai Funeral Chant My entry for the ~Avatar-OC-club contest, and duh it's my Avatar OC, Hanoi Kitsu. For those of you who don't know her history, Hanoi is originally from the village of Ka-shai, on the Ka-shai pass. The pass was one of the only unprotected routes into the Earth Kingdom, so the Fire Nation army swept right through, slaughtering Hanoi's whole village. She was severly burned trying to escape, and was left for dead. The Hawk Spirit and the Moutain Spirit saved her life and sent her two guardians, Ji a mountain puma and Sai a hawk. She abandons her Shaman training and instead become a warrior. She learns from Sai and Ji how to track the most difficult prey and then joins the Earth Kingdom army to track down Fire Nation tracking parties. Thrilling huh? Referenced used for poses, especially for Sai and Ji as I don't really draw big cats and hawks that often, lol. Background is another Avatar wallpaper.
